As the host of two podcasts (Talking Industrial Automation and My Smart and Funny Friends), I'm used to being behind a microphone.
As a long-time journalist and writer, I am used to interviewing people, asking questions and teasing out the best stories and lines.
What I am NOT used to is having the tables turned and being the guest/interviewee.
So when Wendy Covey, marketing agency president, author and host of Content Marketing, Engineered, asked me to appear on her show to talk about digital marketing, my immediate instinct was an epic metric ton of no.
But then, after thinking about it a bit and remembering that 2020 is trash, and by trash I mean an epic metric dumpster fire) I decided it really couldn't get worse so why not give it a go.
And you know what? I'm glad I did.
